What We Are About

The Delta People Cultural Heritage is a global non-governmental organization affiliated to the United Nations Global Compact and UNESCO. It is a body of concerned Niger Delta Citizens whose interest is to promote and preserve the Rich Cultural Heritage of the Niger Delta, Universal Peace as well as a Just and Inclusive Society.

The Delta People Cultural Heritage is also committed to meeting the needs of the less privileged in society through philanthropical gestures as well as other human capital development initiatives.

Our Objectives

  • To promote the rich historical and cultural values of the Niger delta people through the world wide web.
  • To promote United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and UNESCO Culture for Peace Project.
  • To offer Character Education Programme that will ensure a culture of peace.
  • To improve the general health of the family, including youth development by forming youth clubs in schools, and providing empowerment facilities with a view of eradicating poverty, misery, ignorance and want. 
  • To promote gender equality and protect the environment.
  • To promote and preserve the languages of the various Ethnic Nationalities across the Niger Delta States.
  • To defend human rights and restore dignity to all persons.
  • To contribute to peace and security by promoting collaboration among groups and individuals through culture and education.
  • To promote various aspects of our cultural heritage through the organization of unity festivals across the Niger Delta Region.
  • To recognize worthy individuals who have contributed to the peace and development of their kingdom through the conferment of prestigious legend of Niger Delta People award.
  • To acknowledge individuals who have defended their ethnic nationality as Nigerdeltapeople.com patriots of their Ethnic Nationality.
